Alexandra Daddario announced her pregnancy earlier this week with Vogue magazine, sharing the news on social media.
The White Lotus star and her husband, director Andrew Form, have been married for two years.
Vogue stated: “Congratulations are in order for @alexandradaddario! The star is expecting her first child with her husband, film producer Andrew Form — and is finally ready to talk about it.”
The surprise announcement shared multiple pictures of Daddario and her growing bump.
Between Daddario and her husband Form there is a 17 year age gap, with the Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief beyond excited to be a new mother.
Daddario shared on her Instagram a picture of her bump with the caption: ‘Excited for my child to go to pre-school with Margot Robbie and Hailey Bieber’s kids.’
In her interview with Vogue, Daddario shared how she thought about getting the announcement over and done with, instead of keeping it quiet for six months.
After shooting the second season of AMC’s Mayfair Witches, Daddario shared how her castmates quickly figured out she was pregnant from her extreme morning sickness.
“I was on set, and I was throwing up and having make-out scenes with my costars right after.”
“By week five, I was like, There’s no way I’m going to be able to hide this.”
Many comments on Instagram pointed out how there are many celebrities announcing pregnancies at the moment, including Margot Robbie who announced the news last week.
The 38-year-old had her breakthrough role when she portrayed Annabeth Chase in the popular Percy Jackson film series in 2010.
Daddario is also known for her roles as Summer Quinn in Baywatch, Rachel Patton in The White Lotus, and Paige in Hall Pass.
Her next film to be released is the animated Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three on July 16th, where she voices Superman’s long-time love interest Lois Lane.
